Ayrshire Eye Clinic Educational Programme

Ayrshire Eye Clinic in Ayr Scotland is delighted to announce its inaugural laser training workshop on common anterior segment laser procedures. This is a one-day workshop led by Prof. Sathish Srinivasan, Medical Director of Ayrshire Eye Clinic in Ayr, Scotland, UK. The programme will involve lectures in the morning on posterior capsule opacification, laser iridotomy, and selective laser trabeculoplasty followed by wet lab training with actual lasers and model eyes. The attendees will have the opportunity to perform YAG laser posterior capsulotomy, laser peripheral iridotomy, and laser trabeculoplasty on model eyes. This will be conducted in an informal setting with plenty of opportunities for questions and discussion. A maximum of six participants will be taken on a first come first based basis.
